Christmas gifts 2014

Here is the large dump of Christmas gifts I made this year. I originally was going o do a post on each one but then I had so many I don't have the time.
I made these which look way cooler in person using printer friendly transparency. So cool. These went to chris and Jim
I bought a wood burning tool finally and enjoyed making these for Travis parents and chuck and Renee

I made snow man kits for all of my friends kids. I use polymer baking clay and dowels and hot glue.

Fancy coasters for my besties.
Gifts in a jar for my friends. Including cord tacos, double sided elastic hair ties, candies, stickers, personalized monograms for labels and something small and individual for each of my friends.

Ugly sweater party

With some inspiration from the interwebs (and some serious convincing my hubby to cooperate) we rocked the ugly sweater party this year.

Kid bday party gifts.

My son got invited to his friends bday party that was a joint party with his little sis. I made crowns for her and masks for him using this tutorial (the link for the crowns is in the post)
http://cutesycrafts.com/2012/07/superhero-party-masks.html

I loved how they turned out. So quick and so fun. I love using felt too.
I also made them kid friendly ornaments too.

Christmas crafts.

I made this big bow for the top of our tree. Growing up we always had a bow.

We cut a few branches from the bottom of our real live tree. I used some wire and some left over ribbon to make a wreath. I really didn't like it at first. Seemed a bit wild. But now I'm loving the natural look.

I made these plates by adding vinyl to dollar spot dishes.
I made this nativity votive out of dollar tree glasses. It's a crappy pic but looks  beautiful

Christmas pjs

Christmas pjs made from this tutorial http://thecreativevault.blogspot.com/2012/09/one-seam-pajama-pants-tutorial.html?m=1. .
I actually used old adult pjs and they fit perfect.

Baby book

Project life is awesome. I'm so glad I used it for my son's baby book. However it was a ton of work and it is huge. But it's perfect and I love it. He will be three next month so it's about time I finished it.  I'm in love. And it will be treasure forever.

Teeny tears diapers.

I made 25 sets (50 diapers) for the teeny tears foundation which gives them to families who have premies and micro premies that don't survive to keep as a keepsake. Each kit has two: one for the baby to wear and one for the families to keep.  It's so sad to see how tiny they are and I can't even imagine going through that. I hope they can go the families and bring them love and comfort.
