Christmas Gifts Galore

so what have I been up too these last few months of no new posts?! well besides busy making a baby, I made all (but one) of my Christmas gifts this year. Since they had to be a surprise I didn't want to make any posts about them but now I can show them all off check the posts below for all the craftys

bird pillows

I made these pillows for my mom. She is loving birds right now and I love reverse appliqué.

Map hearts

All over pinterest I have been seeing cute projects made with maps. My brother and sister in law are moving to Texas. I wanted to make something to document all the places they've lived.

camper layout

for my father in law I made him this scrapbook layout in a shadow box after my friend Christie made the cutest one for her dad. Chris and Jim spent a lot of time in their trailer this year and I hope this will remind them of those memories

matching fish bowl

for my niece I made her this fishbowl that I saw on SYTYC She loves the little fish and in a few months/years she'll be able to name colors and match and stuff.

earrings

I made these feather and rose earrings for my sister. I really like how they turned out. and for much cheaper than even Claires sells them for

Penny key chains

For my dad I made a penny Key chain with a penny from the year each of his children were born. Then with a brass disk I added the word Lucky.

I also made one with our wedding year for my hubs

ipod/iphone case

I made this case out of a table cloth fabric that is kinda vinyl on one side but soft on the other. Then covered the edges with bias tape and made a little bow. This was for my sister

Scarves

For friends this year I made a bunch of different scarves some were infinity scarves, some jersey knit and some with lace.
I also gave a few to my sister for my family gift exchange

Twister Quilt

My Brother in Law and Sister in Law are moving to Texas. I wanted to make them a picnic blanket to use in all that sunshine they'll be getting. They have kids so I thought it would be fun to make a twister game on one side. I also made a bag and spinner board

Chris' Quilt

last year I made Travis' dad a jean quilt. He loves it an not the best at sharing it with my Mother in Law. So after finding her the perfect sailboat duct/canvas fabric I knew I had to make her her own.
I used triangles in varying shades of denim to creat pinwheels, diamonds and chevon stripes all in the same quilt
